North York Senior Walkers
Walking Every Sunday in Parks All Across Toronto
Since 1986
www.northyorkseniorwalkers.com
What do we do? We've got a 90 minute program starting at 9:00 a.m. each Sunday
--- all year round.
We start with warm up exercises to music. Next we walk for about an hour.
Everyone walks at their own pace. We walk 30 minutes one way and then 30
minutes back so it's easy to walk less. We end with refreshments and time to
chat. Once a month we celebrate that month's birthdays with cake and birthday
cards. And finally, we make sure the washrooms are open. It's a great place to
meet new people. Try us out. Phone in advance or just show up any Sunday. If
you keep coming out, a small annual fee pays for refreshments.
