Description

This group is intended for residents of the North San Jose, California area to discuss topics relevant to the community. Of particular current interest is the city's plan for a massive high-density industrial and housing development. The plan calls for 32,000 high-rise housing units and 27 million square feet of industrial space to be built in North San Jose.

That's my understanding too. I also believe the current thinking is to use the front part of the lot, adjacent to ROP, for community purposes - e.g. school,

My understanding is that such an agreement, if it exists, would be merely a "gentlemen's agreement" since the State has to go through the surplus property

That would be a terrible waste of the building. That facility was built to support a marketing and R&D operation. Originally it also supported a warehouse
