Re: [northernwisdomkindredofutah] Tea

Feverfew, ginger, Kava Kava, Valerian, horehound, Damiana, kola, sarsaparilla, Fenugreek, Rosemary, Camomile, Marjoram, St. John's wort, fennel or caraway seed.

All of these have chemicals that dilate the blood vessels, and anti-inflammatory effects just like aspirin, but without aspirin's side effects. The cause of migraines are the brains blood vessels constricting and inflammation of the surrounding tissue.  Herbs take longer to take effect, but used for longer periods of time prevent recurring migraines.

My daughter use to suffer from migraines and had one the night we had ritual at our place, but she has been taking the formula at the link below and the migraine went away, plus it was very mild and taking another herbal tablet prevented it from going any further.

For immediate relief now until the herbs can work, use hot and cold compresses on the back and side of the neck.  This will help dilate the blood vessels and use a NSAID such as ibuprofen, naproxen or aspirin to relieve the tissue swelling along with the cold packs.

May I have the courage today,
to live the life that I would love,
to postpone my dreams no longer,
to do at last what I came here for,

To bless the space between us.
