The Feast of the Einherjar will be held at the Kindred Hof, 729 Adams Ave, Ogden, Utah, 84404, on November 14, 2009.

Before the ritual we will have a short Kindred only meeting before the ritual and feast starts. We will hold this Kindred only meeting starting at 4pm. We will also be discussing Yule, I have paid for the use of the Unitarian hall and Kitchen for the Public Yule ritual this December 19, 2009, at the Unitarian church in Ogden at 705 23rd St., Ogden, UT 84401.

At 5:00 P.M. we will have the Feast, followed by blot and sumble.

The Einherjar are the fallen warriors who die in battle and are swept up by the Valkyries to be taken to Valhalla. It is good to remember those ancestors who preceded us in death, but we must not forget the new harvest of the dead, and we must honor them with as much care and love as we honor our ancestors. The ancestor altar will be available to those who wish to display items from your ancestors who served in the military.

The heroic dead are those who, by virtue of their bravery or sense of duty, made the sacrifice of their own lives in battle, both in the past, and in this age of the world.
