Description

NorCal-Rocks is a group of rockhounds generally based in Central and Northern California who enjoy sharing information on their hobby and going on field trips. Discussions involve gem, mineral, lapidary, and fossil collecting sites and the coordination of field trips.

Membership in the list discussions is open to anyone. Participation in some of the field trips might require that you be a member of an accredited rock club.

Is the Benitoite Mine In San Benito still closed?
Are there any EXPERIENCED San Benito hounds in the group??? I know there are many mines and sites to find some absolutely gorgeous items, can anyone suggest
