for rockets! We had eleven flights through the day starting at 10:30 am and
finishing around 2:00 pm and one level 1 certification flight from Arjay Eve!
> 1: Tricia Johnson flew and Aamram on a C6-5 for a good flight.
> 2: Tricia flew a Tri-F-O on a 1/2A6-2T for a short but good flight.
> 3: Tim Young flew a Fab Toy (Fat Boy) on a C6-5 with a disapointing lack of
parachute inflation. But it suvived see below.
> 4: Highlight of the DAY goes to Arjay Eve for launching his Caliber ISP on an
H128-M for a successful flight and LEVEL 1 certification, congratulations to
Arjay!
> 5: Tricia flew her 3-hour build time (Norad Pro-Mass) on a G61w-M for an
excellent first flight.
> 6: Tim Flew an Initator on a G35-7 for a good flight.
> 7: Tim attempted to fly his Frankenstien (estes Prowler) on an E18-7 but had a
rear closure failure as it went up and hung weightless for a couple seconds at
apogee about 20 ft off the ground - truely a specticle.
> 8: Tim flew his Fab toy on a C6-5 - trying to get out all three of its
parachutes for a second try. But to no avail the chutes remained in the nose
cone. Another tangled shoot.
> 9: Tim flew his Honest John (estes large kit) on a D12-3 for a low flight that
had a piece of the split plastic nosecone come apart.
> 10: Tim on a third and final attempt for the Fab Toy - with success the three
parachutes deployed and had a 55 second duration on a C6-5.
> 11: Tricia daringly flew a composite D24-7 in her Estes Aamram kit. With a
little rodwip disappeared like an arrow with a high strung bow. A good flight
with some fixable fin damage.
