Welcome to the NLPOA - Oregon Chapter page! The National Latino Peace Officers Association exists across the United States. The NLPOA was founded in 1972 by Vicente Calderon and John Parraz and then charted in 1974. The NLPOA - Oregon Chapter mission is to eliminate prejudice and discrimination in the Criminal Justice System (particularly in law enforcement) and to create a fraternal and professional association that provides support and advocacy for personal and professional development of its members; to prevent and reduce juvenile delinquency; and to lessen neighborhood tension in Latino communities through awareness and role modeling for our youth! Bienvenido!
Sincerely,
NLPOA - Oregon Chapter
