This group is for information about various family- and kid-friendly events and activities in the Garden State...and surrounding areas.

Post an event to share it with others and review an event after you have attended. Find an event to attend with your family...or on your own. Share this site with your friends. The more people contribute to the event listings, the more useful this resource will be.

Events will include festivals, fairs and carnivals, shows, plays, races, tours, nature hikes, concerts, park happenings, grand openings, rummage sales, town celebrations, library readings, meetings, lectures, parent workshops...any special event where a parent, child, or family can have fun and learn something, too!

You may also post about classes, clubs, and ongoing children's programs.

I began this group because I am constantly looking for activities our family can do together. I have found events in magazines and guides, county websites, advertisements in local papers, signs along the road, and suggestions from friends. The goal here is for members to list them all in one place for everyone to enjoy.

Membership is moderated to prevent spammers from openly joining. Personal advertising will not be tolerated. There are a few simple posting guidelines to keep the group as user-friendly as possible. We strongly suggest confirming an event before attending. Reviews of events are encouraged, but off-topic discussions are not appropriate.

The goal of this group is to have fun! So please contribute when you can and let us know when you attend an event your family really enjoyed!
