This group is to find the small number crafty-sewing-etc goths scattered central & northeast NJ and get together to hang out and do crafts and teach each other things. I am in middlesex county area. Witches, punks, pagans, victorians, etc. are welcome. (I will not likely turn away anyone with an interest no matter who they are as long as they are in the area)

I really would like to get a quilting Bee going in central NJ (new brunswick area), we could partly work on spooky themed ones and partly work on some for http://www.wraptheminlove.org.

I welcome people who are also on the gothfasion list, any craft list, any goth list, but you should live in the area because I don't want this to be a purely online thing, I want us to do things in real life eventually. All skill levels welcome (I'm beginner in most crafts I do), don't be afraid to ask any craft question no matter how stupid you think it is. Chance are someone else wants to know it too.

Please do not get offended if myself or other list members do not want to share phone numbers and addresses right away, when the time is right and a person feels comfortable, they will do that.

If we end up having gatherings and all you want to do is bring cookies and sit around and chat and keep us company that is cool too. I have tons of craft supplies to share too. I want to make things to sell on ebay, who knows, maybe we'll all get a little craft business going.

Craft projects can include, but are not limited to: custom fashion dolls, polymer clay, candles, soap, ribbons, hair accesories, doll clothes, pouches, corsets, beads, mhendi, makeup styles, hair styles, fetish clothes, period clothes, hats, cooking/cake decorating, photography, book covers, origami, casket building, herbal pillows, quilts, crochet.
