The Nihonshi list is reading group dedicated to reading Japan history, biography, and classic Japanese literature.
The Nihonshi list is open to all, including enthusiastic amateurs of Japan history, professional scholars, students, writers, or anyone who likes to read and discuss history, literature or biography. We hope that this list is a means for all of us to learn about and discuss Japan history, literature and culture, in a fun, casual environment.
Polite discussion of almost any Japan related topic is okay, so please post away. Friendly debate is most welcome.
