This group is dedicates to providing information about conducting and participating in model rocket night launches.

The photo to the right was take by is of an Art Applewhite Rockets Double Helix flown on two D12-0 motors at the night launch at NSL 2010 in Alamogordo, NM. The photo was taken by Tom Beach and is presented here with his permission.

CHILI BLASTER III and Night Launch

The FAA changed their rules a couple of years ago. There is no distinction between model rockets and large model rockets. All rockets up to 1500 grams total
