LULU & THE 2010 ANCIENT SEDONA CALENDAR

Hello Everyone!

I've been photographing ruins and rock art around Sedona for many years,
itching to turn some of these photos into calendars, greeting cards, and
prints. But every time I tried to move ahead with this idea, the cost of
self-publishing was prohibitive. So I put this idea on the back burner --
until now.

In recent years, a few online publishers have finally made it possible to
self-publish products on a print-on-demand basis, meaning authors don't have
to put up money to publish. You simply create your product, post it online,
market it, and your online publisher prints and ships whatever orders are
made. After the sales are complete, and production and mailing costs have
been deducted, you receive payment for your share of the proceeds.

To take this idea for a spin, I've created two calendars consisting of some
of the ruin and rock art photos I've taken around Sedona and posted them on
Lulu <http://www.lulu.com>, one of the Net's most reputable online
publishers. The large "deluxe" calendar sells for $29.74, while the small
"standard" calendar sells for $19.99. I've priced the calendars so I receive
$5.00 on every large calendar sale, and $6.00 on every small calendar sale.

If you have the time an interest, come take a look and let me know what you
think. Are these calendars unique, inspiring, something you would like to
see hanging on your wall? Are they something you would give to family and
friends during the holiday season?
