I have just received the Record of Death from the Washoe County Medical
Examiner/ Coroner. Phillip Youngjin Moon, aged 21 jumped from a 17th story
railed balcony of a Harrah's hotel room in Reno Nevada on October 27th 1999.

I am aware that the Moon organization has tried to keep the truth concealed
that the death was officially ruled a suicide. I have posted a scanned
image of both the Coroner's report and the Record of Death Narrative. I have
also been in touch with the NBC reporter who initially did the story and
said that the police refer to the case as a "righteous suicide" -- odd
terminology, but it means that all evidence points to it not being an
accident or a homicide.

It is my sincere hope that members of the Moon organization remember the
Bible quote used so often in the Divine Principle series, "You shall know
the tree by the fruit it bears." It is difficult to understand how long term
members can continue to try to pretend that Moon and his family is sinles --
especially after Hyo Jin's divorce and Nonsook Hong's book, In the Shadow of
the Moons -- where she detailed his cocaine abuse, physical violence,
adultery. What amazed me was that Sun Myung Moon admitted to her that he had
sexual relations outside of his current marriage.
