The North Fulton Amateur Radio League, NFARL, in the north metro Atlanta, Georgia area operates three repeaters. 145.470-(PL100), 444.475+(PL 100) 147.060+ (PL 100) MHz. All sign with N4CLA/r. We also host the 224.62-(PL100) and the 443.150+ (No PL) repeaters jointly with the MATPARC club with callsign W4PME/r. We have recently installed 927.1625- (PL 151.4)on Sweat Mtn. Feel free to use these repeaters - members and non-members. The 145.47 repeater also has ECHOLINK on it.
The club holds regular monthly meetings with a variety of outstanding speakers on the third Tuesday at 7:30PM at the Masonic Lodge Hall, 194 Milton Avenue, Alpharetta. Check the main club website for details and maps.

Not really. As the power goes up the quality of the amp _/generally/_ gets better. For my money the AL-1200 is probably the best buy for an Ameritron amp. Jim
