Re lion fruit so far Hylocerus is Hylocereus common name is Pitahaya a member of
the Cactaceae family, a cousin being the prickly pear.
I have found no reference to Lion fruit as a common name
From the images seen there is no resemblance to pumpkin vine as mentioned. It is
a vine true but that is where the similarity ends
Most interesting.

No I don't have the botanical name, that is what I am trying to find out as then we might know the conditions it like to grow in. Plants are now about 4cm high...

Hi, With regard to the lion fruit, I haven't found any reference to its common name with tropical fruit yet so I think it is safe to say it is a temperate...
