e are a non-gendered group. Moms, Dads, Grandparents and extended family members are all part of this group.
We will not and have not advocated for "mom's or a dad's rights" or a "child's rights" or a "grandparent's rights". We are a civil rights group period.
We do point out the blantant and sometimes cruel realities - such as 94% of all custodial parents are mothers and females make up 52% of all calls into the domestic violence hotlines.
My suggestion is that you find one thread and follow it, read what has been going on. We do a lot of letter writing and lobbing in Albany and in our own assembly districts.

There are several bills sitting in our Assembly and Senate that will just blow you away. Like the one that they want every child before the age of 5 to be tested for mental disabilities-of course sponsored by the drug companies.
On Sept. 17, 2004 a Federal Class Action suit was filed on behalf of all non-custodial parents. It was dismissed by Elliot Spitzer because he said it was frivolous.
Imagine that, your right to parent your child is frivolous.

Not on my watch.

Oh, I most definitely agree, Paul, that: 1) government has become soo far out of control, that the only reasonable solution is to nearly wipe it and start
