Hi,Does anyone have an extra backhoe bucket? that they might part with. I know
someone that has the plans to make one, but thought i could save myself some
time.
Todd,
I have a Mighty Mac Chipper that mounts
on my 812. I don't have a scanner to post any
pictures. You are welcome to stop down and see it some time
if you want. E-Mail me at jpsjks@....
Jeff

I have a picture of a mackissic compost shredder,
from the gravely catalog. Mounted on a 400 series but
doesn't show much. The 2 wheel model will also fit the
rider but you need a front mount kit and a quick hitch.
The one with the clutch in it.You also need the front
mount kit for the rider version.Anyway check photos.I
had the 2 wheel model ,with quick hitch on my 432
rider and worked well.
there are good shows in bernardston, mass.
[memorial weekend too soon??] and orange, mass [june/july?
hot weather]the hudson,ny show in august has lot's of
space and good location.best turnout might be with a
tractor show?? if not along i-91 somewhere.
Don't have one of those mounted on a rider but
the one that hoooks to my 16 pro works very well.It
will handle about a 3" log and has stood up well. I
think mine is homemade but it works and is on the list
for some modification. this summer. It's real
topheavy the way it's mounted to the quick hitch and I'm
planning to widen the sistance between the caster wheeels
on the front. realize it's not what you are looking
for but hope it helps.
Tom,
Can't say I have seen a good one for a
while. Might still have a piece that someone did artwork
on. On the other hand, I think I threw it in the
barrell for recycling.
Will keep open eye for you.
Does anyone have any pics of a front-mounted
Mity-Mac chipper shredder for a rider. I know where I can
buy one, but want to see what it looks like actually
attached to a tractor.

Thanks

Todd

Dublin is an excellent place for A meet but is
limited for space and you must arrive early. It is held
the weekend after Labor Day which is fine. I do think
most members would be anxious to have it in the Spring
rather than wait that long.
What a good feeling to belong to a club that we
can and will be open with everyone. It is very hard
sometimes, to sort out the bull from the truth and here we
can all make that happen. As long as all involved
have all the facts, good and bad, we can overcome all
obstacles. With that said. Does anyone have a turnplow or
aluminum head that they want to part with? (John?)
When ever doing something with
volunteers-Assemble the volunteers and see what THEY are willing to
do. Everone else keeps quiet. If someone mails me a
list of up to 100 or so addresses and the details I
will make a one page postable sheet and mail them out.
If fees are charged I would like to be repaid for
the postage only. If no money is made I would donate
the stamps. All of this to be done by U.S. mail as I
am barely able to navagate message boards. Respond
here only.-RIK
Another idea is the Ox Bow Marina just south of
Northampton Ma. on Rte, 91. Except for Me. it"s pretty
central in N.E. I attended a Buick show last summer and
met my brothers from N.H. and M.A. there. I"m from

Folks, one idea for a Gravely swapmeet and mow-in
would be to work with the Dublin, NH Tractor and Gas
Engine show held each September (2nd weekend in month,
right after Labor Day).

Location is right off
Route 101 just outside Peterborough, NH on the Dublin
line, in a large field. There are displays (and swap
meets) for tractors, engines and power equipment of all
kinds. I'm sure Gravelys would be welcome. This show
draws thousands of attendees during the course of
Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday.

It is
well-known in this area, and draws folks from a large area.
Sponsored by the Dublin Fire Department and some of the
local engine/tractor clubs.

The Merrimack
County fairgrounds in Contoocook, NH also come to mind
as a good site. Right off I-89, and local stores and
logistics (lodging, food) are available within reasonable
driving distance (including Concord, NH).

Just a
few thoughts on the topic.....be great to have a New
England/New Hampshire Gravely event.
I was talking to Mrgravely and he told me, that he was thinking of posting some
of the fine auction places. To go pick up gravely goods and their attachments.
Like Hudson New York and so on .
Hi Mr gravely,
As for a location for our
first swap meet. A good friend and fellow member has
suggested Edaville Railroad in So. Carver Mass. I have been
to similar events there and feel it is an excellent
place for the meet. Since you and I live in northern
NH, maybe someplace in lower NH would be more
centrally located for most New England members.
Thank you Mark for starting this Yahoo club.
Maybe we can find stuf a little closer to home to buy
and swap. I have got cabin fever an am ready to go as
soon as you discover the time and place for the firts
swap meet. Looks like this club is of to a good start
an only 6 days old. (REDJET)
Hello, I'm a new member, aren't we all?
I'm a
transplanted New Englander, now living in Washington State. I
probably won't make many of the Mow-in or Swap
Meets.
As a suggestion, Years ago in Mass there was an
event called Farmers Field Day. If you could recreate
the flavor of one of these shows, you would have a
winner. I'm not sure who you could contact to get further
info on these events.
Jack
Can anyone tell me if Mr Squeek is going to do
Tractor Pulling ?? I know that little guy can move rather
fast. I was wondering how well he
could pull???
Will this be a future event?

John L.
Carl, Yes you can discuss one wheel (Model D),two
wheel (Model L) and 4 wheel tractors. Would like to
plan a swap meet this spring or summer. Any ideas or
places to have one would be great. Welcome aboard.
Thanks, Mark
Are we allowed to discuss Gravely two wheel tractors in this club or just four
wheel tractors? When and where is the next New England area Gravely swap meet
going to take place?
For all those who enjoy and love your Gravely
Tractor you are Welcomed here. We will discuss in the
best way so as you can understand the Gravely and
attachments. Your experience and knowledge will benefit all
those who have questions. My knowledge is from owning
my own small engine repair business for 23 years. I
have repaired many engines and tractors over the
years. I started collecting and working on Gravely
tractors on September 13th,1995. The people I have met
thru my collecting has been one of the most wonderful
experiences of my lifetime. I continue to collect and repair
Gravely's and learn something new every day. I would like
to say a special Thank You to my good friend, John
Langille who has helped me with my Gravely experiences
since I started. Many Thanks to ALL the people I have
had the chance to meet and hope to meet many more
Gravely people as I continue my love of the Gravely
tractor. I have quite a collection of tractors and
equipment and will be sharing photos with you as soon as
possible. My literature collection is very large and would
enjoy sharing with you also. I would enjoy making
copies of my collection if any of you would like info.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you
have. Enjoy this club and make it YOUR club. May the
Lord Bless and guide you through life. Many Thanks and
Welcome!!! Mark E. Bricker
