Welcome to the Hoboken Newcomers Club!
Newcomers is a social group for simply getting out, meeting people, and having fun.

Most group members (but not all) are in their 20s & 30s and either live in the Hoboken area or frequently hang out here. Our members are a mix of single, dating and married - we welcome all! Despite the name, the group is not limited to those who are new to the Hoboken area - the group has both new arrivals to Hoboken as well as those who have lived here for a few years.

The group strives to help members to learn about what Hoboken and the surrounding area has to offer, as well as help members to meet new people. Most events will be held in the Hoboken area, although some will be in the surrounding metropolitan area. Check back often for new events!

Some of the events that the club has hosted in the past: 'March on Washington' series of Drinks & Dinner events on every Friday, Valentine's Day Wine Tasting, International Beer festival, St. Patrick's day parade & bar hop, Rooftop Deck & Poolside BBQ's, Happy Hour Meet n' Greet events, Gotham Comedy Club, Brooklyn Brewery, Metropolitan Art Museum and much more.

Besides these events, individual group members host their own events and private parties to which they sometimes generously invite the entire group. We welcome suggestions and ideas for events - particularly if you are willing to play host!
