Inspired by the global Freecycle network, the Newcastle and Stoke-on-Trent Freecycle group is trying to reduce waste in our area.

The Newcastle and Stoke-on-Trent Freecycle(TM) Network covers the Potteries and surrounding areas, for members who wish to "recycle" or "gift" an unwanted possession rather than throw it away. Whether it's a chair, a computer, a piano or an old door, feel free to post a message offering it. Or maybe you'll spot something you need.

Posting Rules: Essentially, All items MUST be 100% free and appropriate. No politics: No adverts: No SPAM.

Please offer something to the group, no matter how small, as your first message posting. The full rules are given in your welcome email, once you've joined the group.Please read the rules before posting.

Join the group Then post a message about the items you want to recycle, or items you want to acquire. The group list is actively monitored to keep the group running smoothly. Inappropriate postings are likely to be deleted and may lead to suspension from the group. Please follow the rules of etiquette and help this friendly group to thrive.
