Flying "The Gate".

This interesting formation is north of I-40, in the valley that one over to the west of the Puerco. I (Jeff) noticed it on a previous flight to Cerro Negro and later measured the distance between the uprights using Google Earth to be 100 ft. My trike has a wingspan of 32 ft, but I wasn't going to chance it. I kept my wingtips well above the pillars and lined up on the center. Mike Marker captured this picture of me flying over the Gate.
