Vision:
The Cultural Committee shall be dedicated to creating and providing fora for young South Asian professionals interested in cultural offerings of the DC metro region. The Committee will also work to increase awareness of and to promote the diverse and rich cultural heritage of South Asia.

Mission:
The mission of the Cultural Committee is to:

(1) Engage NetSAP-DC members in participating in a diversity of activities ranging from cultural dances, such as garba/raas to musical concerts, as well as attending major festivals and a variety of other displays of South Asian culture.

(2) Involve the NetSAP-DC community in the cultural offerings of the DC metro region, such as performances at the Kennedy Center and area theaters and tours of the Smithsonian Institutions and special exhibits.
