Many horse owners consider their horse a pet. Thousands are stolen each year from unsuspecting owners while others just disappear. Many horses are involved in "civil theft" (not a legal term) where the victim does not have any help from law enforcement.

This is the list for the Stolen Horse International, Inc. NetPosse, dedicated to prevention and recovery issues surrounding horse theft. Hopefully, if you are on this list and a horse is reported stolen, you'll copy a flyer and post it in your area. Don't forget to send the information on to your friends. IDAHO Alerts and fundraising notices will be sent to this group.
