Hello all:
Please assist me to replace this old data- 'Sal forests cover ca. 110 000 ha in Bangladesh (Alam, 1996), 10 million ha in India (Tewari, 1995) and 1 million ha in Nepal (Annonymous, 1989)'- with more recent one. I have tried to look at Global Forest Resource Assessment (FAO, 2005) but failed to get the specific info on the Sal forests. Anybody has some ideas?
Your contribution will highly be acknowledged.
Cheers,
Indra Sapkota
