This is a group for families (including singles) currently in the process of adopting from Nepal. Nepal Adopt is a supportive list that discusses the issues unique to those of us building our families through an adoption from Nepal.

We welcome the exploration of issues relating to the adoption process from Nepal, some of which are controversial by nature. Although we share a common journey to adopt from Nepal, we respect our differences and your other listmembers' points of view.

***Membership Requests - Requests for membership MUST include the following in order to be approved:

Name of applicant
Name of adoption agency being used by applicant (not required for applicants who state they reside outside of the US or Canada)
Year in which dossier was/will be submitted

Please be advised that only people in the process of adopting from Nepal are currently eligible for membership in this group at this time (i.e., agency staff and those simply interested in adopting from Nepal are not eligible). Applications submitted by others will not be accepted at the request of the current membership.
