Description
Discussion - Mailing list dedicated to all facets of Platonism, either Medio-, Neo- or Renaissance.
The purpose of the list is to provide an environment for an academic type of discussion of Platonism and its significance. There are no particulars rules to be followed – common sense would do.
I would consider a gain of this list if the participants would please to post from time to time book/article/reviews notices. It is quite a big world out there and quite hard to find out what is being published everywhere, or what conferences are happening.
Though English is the main language for this list, those who would find it easier to engage a dialogue in French, Italian or German are welcome. If it becomes too Babel-like, we can revert to the one language system.
Visit also
the 'ISNS Website'
a website that tries to collect as much information available online as possible about the Platonic tradition.
Welcome and hopefully we will get something out of this enterprise.

Re: Proclus' birthday
This, of course, may not be Proclus' actual birth date since, as Siorvanes argues, it was created after his death and backdated 74 years. It was sloppily
