COMMUNITY ALERT NOTIFICATION
LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT
Message from SLO Preciado

Attention Highland Park & Mt. Washington residents:

There has been a continuous problem with vehicles getting broken into
on Marmion Way at Museum Dr. Flyers have been placed on the vehicles
advising owners of the problem and providing crime prevention tips.

Most of the vehicle burglaries are occurring during the early daytime
hours (6:00am-noon.)

Please be on the lookout for any suspicious activity when driving
through that area. If you happen to see someone "peeking" through the
vehicle windows, get a good description of the possible suspect and
call 1-877-ASK-LAPD and a patrol vehicle will be dispatched.

Remember to pass the word along: Don't leave valuables in your
car....at least not in plain sight!
