Thanks to everyone for your responses. Mary, I was hoping that my sister would also come to me in a dream state, and two nights ago she did. Below is the dream, if anyone is interested. It's hard to tell if it was really her or just my ego trying to comfort itself, but whatever the case, I felt comforted after I woke up like i had just spent time with her.
The dream: In the dream I ask her what it was like to die, and if it was scary. She tells me that it is not scary at all, but she did run into an old lady/man/creature that was an obstacle before she passed through. I asked her if it was in a tunnel, and she says yes. Now, I am in this tunnel / hallway. It is dark and has shades of red and black and dark gray. I feel myself wrestling with the being that she mentioned, and become concerned and slightly afraid. She repeats again that death is not scary – she doesn’t want me to worry, and I can tell in her vagueness that there are certain things she can’t tell me.
Did anyone else have a dream where they asked a deceased love one about what happens after you die, and they are vague and/or just don't answer? Just curious, this has happened to me as well as two other close friends.
Peace, Emily

Dear Emily,
Noni suggested I make talk about my way of interpreting dreams and in another email you said you would be interested.
Let me say first that dreams are not an entity floating around in space looking for a mind to inhabit. Dreams are generated by the dreamer and every aspect of the dream is a reflection of the dreamers mind. So, when we dream, we look at every aspect and know that each piece of it is ourself.
Your dream:
In the dream I ask her what it was like to die, and if it was scary.
LINDA: You are both Emily and your sister in the dream. So you are asking yourself if it is scary to die.
EMILY: She tells me that it is not scary at all, but she did run into an old lady/man/creature that was an obstacle before she passed through.
LINDA: *YOU* are the being, the obstacle - the only thing that keeps yourself from proceeding.
EMILY: I asked her if it was in a tunnel, and she says yes. Now, I am in this tunnel / hallway.
LINDA: *YOU* are the tunnel. You are the passageway. You are the vehicle through which you can move forward in spirit.
EMILY: It is dark and has shades of red and black and dark gray.
LINDA: Only you know what the dark colors of red, black and dark gray mean to you....but you are those colors. Red = passion? anger?, Black = Void? Fear? Dark Gray = vague? Impenetrable? Think about what those colors mean to you .
EMILY: I feel myself wrestling with the being that she mentioned, and become concerned and slightly afraid. She repeats again that death is not scary – she doesn’t want me to worry,
LINDA: You are wrestling with yourself - internally. You are concerned and slight afraid but a deeper part of you assures you that dying to your ego (that's all that dies) is not scary and nothing to worry about. It sounds to me like you are coming to some realizations.
EMILY: and I can tell in her vagueness that there are certain things she can’t tell me.
LINDA: You still feel what you need to know is vague and there are certain things you can't comprehend yet.
LINDA: You still feel what you need to know is vague and there are certain things you can't comprehend yet.
With love,
Linda
