Welcome to Northern CA Native Events and News. We are the only news and events site dedicated to this little corner of Indian country! We want to hear about your meetings, art openings, exhibitions, gatherings, speakers, poetry readings, pow wows, concerts, fundraisers, job openings, calls to action, etc.

Please keep in mind that our focus here is Events and News. We are not a chat, discussion, or opinion type group--so you will find that replies to postings are rarely published. We encourage you to send your replies, opinions, and commentary to the original publication. If they are published--please then send us a few paragraphs and a link back to the post--we are very likely to share your thoughts. However, we endeavor to include a mix of events and news that cover many topics and areas within Northern California--so we are not always able to use every item that comes in.

Please note, the calendar is not currently working. To find events please go to the message page and use the search function. You can use the name of a town, a date, or a type of an event as your search term. Examples: Sacramento, 2.21 (also try Feb. 21 or just the month), music. Recently we have started adding the word Event to the bottom of all event messages, so searching on "Event" should pull up all recently posted event announcements.
