What Is NC ACT?

NC ACT is North Carolina's free weekly statewide Hip Hop, Spoken Word and activism events newsletter, delivered via email every Friday.

NC ACT provides promoters with a free way of listing their events statewide, and lets heads across the state know when and where their favorite acts will be appearing. Many artists also read NC ACT to find out about venues across the state. Check out some NC ACT issues here.

How Do I Subscribe?

To subscribe to NC ACT and receive it by email once a week, just look to the upper right of this page, and click the blue 'Join This Group!' button. That's it! IMPORTANT: After you click the 'Join This Group!' button, you will be given a choice of receiving NC ACT by 'Individual Emails', 'Daily Digests', 'Special Notices', or 'No Email'. Select either 'Individual emails' to receive NC ACT in your email once a week, or 'No Email' if you choose to read NC ACT here on the web. Choosing 'Daily Digests' or 'Special Notices' doesn't apply to NC ACT, since NC ACT only comes out once a week.

Can I Subscribe To NC ACT Thru The NC ACT MySpace page?

No. For now, to keep things simple, NC ACT is only available here. NC ACT'S MySpace blog will be used only to post articles about North Carolina personalities and photos from NC events.

How Do I Submit Events?

Send event info to Cherryl at allcitytimes@gmail.com. Try to get the info in as early as possible! Space is limited! You can also send Cherryl photos or articles for NC ACT's MySpace blog.
