Schmuel
100% correct... thank you Cami..
Incidentally, the original solicitations for HRV purchases, when many of you
sent money, did NOT indicate anything about "donation". We would have
no problem republishing an example from a year or two ago. This was all a later
HRV cover story which, since what Cami has pointed out is true, would be
shredded
by a good attorney general, DA, and/or state or fed tax investigator. They
don't
look kindly on such misrepresentations and fraud, and James would do better not
to
continue to lie about the history of the HRV solicitations like he did today.
Now, I do hope those of you who consider the "customer disservice" problems as
more important than the fact that the HRV NT uses another English text
as its base (gross and blatant plagiarism) while claiming to be an original
translation, will really examine your spiritual priorities in regard to the
Scriptures.
Understanding that having money sent under false pretenses, waiting a year,
hearing all sorts of excuses and lines month after month.... hurts ...
nonetheless,
misrepresenting the plagiarism of a mediocre version (wouldn't matter if it were
an
excellent version) as an original translation, peddling the Word of Elohim in
such
a corrupt manor, is, to my heart, 1000 times more significant.
Granted.. I don't have any money on the line. .however, I really am trying to
share straight.
For some of you the $50 or $150 or more is a ton of money, for others it is a
relatively
inexpensive education on spiritual corruption, so I realize that various folks
are looking
at this through differing lenses.
However we are talking about the Word of God.
Could you really USE a version that is basically a tawdry plagiarism, put forth
by
a "scholar" with handmade credentials. Such a version, in my house, would go
somewhere between the New World Translation and the Book of Morman, way in
the back of the closet, if I felt it should stay in the house at all.
