Welcome to the Natomas Park Planning Committee (NPPC)yahoo group!

We are residents who work with the City & County to help ensure new development projects add benefit to our community. Our group started in March 2007 to help give Natomas Park a stronger voice in the community.

Membership is FREE and even limited involvement in our work is welcome.

Our Yahoo group has projects we have reviewed or commented on in the files section. We encourage people to post useful information and any letters you've written to officials so we have a record of what residents want for the community.

This yahoo group site only has projects posted that we have reviewed since March 2007. We hope to add older projects (such as the Long's Center) too.

Some info:
- A whole bunch of info is in the "Files" link on the left.
- Info on local development projects: "Files/Development Projects"
- Meeting minutes and agendas: "Files/Meeting minutes"
- Upcoming community meetings: "calendar"

- If you have files or articles about a project from a credible source, feel free to post the articles in that project's folder. Add add a description to it that is "searchable" later on.
- If you've sent letters to officials regarding projects or land use concerns, post them in the appropriate project's folder (or create a new folder if needed). Add the words "resident letter" in the file description. We're just starting to do this but think it will be a useful thing to do.
