This group is for the discussion of genealogical research related to families with the surname Scott (and variations) in the Southeastern United States that have connections in some way with Native Americans in the area. For example, the owner of the list is interested in exploring whether or not Scott ancestors were actually Native Americans raised by the Scott family. States of interest include North and South Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas, and others.
