Created in 2006, this group has become one of the best Internet resources devoted to the sport of Kitewing sailing. Formerly known as the Skimbat, the Kitewing hand-held wing has become a powerful tool in the pursuit of outdoor adventure. We sail on ice, snow, land, and water in locations all over North America from New England to Alaska and perhaps even beyond. Kitewing riding can be anything from a pleasant afternoon with family and friends to intense competion to a grand adventure at the ends of the earth. You don't have to own a wing or even ride one to join but if you are the type who enjoys fun and adventure in the great outdoors then this could be your group, too.

Our Links page will take you to related Yahoo groups, equipment vendors, and other web pages related to the sport. Thanks to continued input from our many dedicated riders, we have dozens of albums of photos to show, as well as some great home video.
Here we exchange information, arrange for sessions and events, and sometimes buy or sell used equipment. This group is dedicated to the growth of the sport and the voice of the riders.
