Support group for writers from NaNoWriMo (www.nanowrimo.org), originally created 11/2005.

Please join us for discussion and commiseration as we come down from our high, get back to real life, and then go on to edit our fabulous works (aka, the Great American Novels).

A few basic rules:

1. Be nice to each other. We don't want to moderate posts but will if things get ugly.
2. No posting of big chunks of novels or other text. Instead, upload it to the files section then post to the list asking people to take a look. Please upload in either .rtf or .txt format so everyone can access it.
3. If you're getting digest, please change your subject title to match what you're responding to.
4. Snip gracefully. Keep your "quoted" part of replies to the most minimum you can. It's difficult to slog through all that stuff to get to the meat and potatoes of a reply.
5. Please use the links section, files section, and photos section as you will. The mods will keep an eye on things so they don't go nuts and get overrun. But please put things there. We're sure there are all kinds of resources we could all be using.
6. If you want to start a poll, ask a mod first. Just out of courtesy.
7. If some nutball logs on and sends spam (like "check out my web cam"), don't worry, we mods are on it and will remove/ban that nutball. Believe that we are here to do our jobs and don't need to be alerted to such shenanigans.
8. Any ideas for improvement of the group, let us know, either onlist or privately. We want this to be a useful place for everyone.
