Have you been looking for a way to get out and see Japan, connect with new friends, and have fun? Come on out and join us on our next event and have some fun!

With over 220 members in our Yahoo Group, and nearly 200 on Facebook, we have an interesting group. Our members are foreign visitors and residents of Japan, and Japanese interested in foreign people and cultures. There is no fee for participation, and all you have to do is sign up on Facebook, Yahoo, or both, and show up to the next event. The object of the club is to encourage members to host their own events, and through that participation in the community we will have events that are as interesting and diverse as our members themselves.

Past events have included matsuri (festivals), hanabi (fireworks festivals), karaoke, flea market trips, parades, boat rides, and karaoke, but could be as simple as coffee in Sakae. To host an event, simply pick an activity, a time, and a place, and then send an email to the group. The list is tightly moderated, so inappropriate invites and mail will be deleted-sorry spammers
