Welcome to the NAAFA-LA Group list. While our chapter covers all of Los Angeles County, this group is open to friends far and wide. This list is intended as a central cyber location where our local members, friends, interested parties, and others can find information regarding our chapter, our parent organization NAAFA and communicate easily with each other.

NAAFA is a non-profit human rights organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for fat people. NAAFA has been working since 1969 to eliminate discrimination based on body size and provide fat people with the tools for self-empowerment through public education, advocacy, and member support.

We believe in support for all persons of all sizes, as we are all the right size! All are welcome to join this list, but you must keep it size friendly!
