The IC-7200 uses a USB connection. But this connection acts as a serial port and if you look in the Windows device manager, you will see a serial port comport

Computer control of IC-7200
Hi, The IC-7200 apparently doesn't use the usual Icom CI-V interface ... but sends the CI-V data over a USB connection. Does the N4PY control software work

Windows 7 64 Bit
The Pegasus Version 3.08 runs well on Windows 7 64Bit. I am using a GoldX USB to serial port adapter. Charlie K8BLO

I don't have windows 7 so I cannot comment. But maybe windows 7 does a better job of networking priorities inside the PC. Carl Moreschi N4PY 121 Little Bell
