The Medieval Model is a term C. S. Lewis used in his last book, "The Discarded

Image" to describe the common themes found in the literature of the Middle ages

and Renaissance. I'm examining this model as well as the common themes one finds

in the works of Lewis and Tolkien in my blog and how these relate to High

Fantasy novels.
