Thanks, the tide tables are pretty neat :-) BTW, I was down at
Azaibah last night and we did not have much luck. One word of advice
if you're planning on checking out Azaibah, make sure you smear
yourself with plenty of mosquito repellent. How about posting some
nice fishing spots in and around Muscat ?

Hi folks,

Stumbled across this group while I was looking out for the tide
timings. My friend and I enjoy fishing. Checked out the photographs
and I must say you guys are into fishing 'big time' Some of
those 'catches' are awsome! Could you give me some nice spots around
Muscat where one doesn't go back home empty handed ? I generally fish
at Kalboo Park and Al Inshariah but most days its bad news.

what is this No 4  you did not tell us good luck we miss you at the
fishing, and we did think you would have like to be there.

I really envy you guys. But I am glad someone goes fishing. We are
waiting for the newborn any day, any hour. After that we going to
celebrate and of course do some fishing.

nice flat fish to day on AV beach

Yes I am sea sick I can not last that long in it plan to get alan to
put the chum in the sea with it wile I stand on the beach like the
photo's

I am glad you have finished the boat. But you get sea-sick!? Anyway,
another trip, this time a sting-ray. Lost it in the end but it was
some 15-20 minutes fight. A few nice pictures in the 'Nenad' folder.

nice  queen fish we have finished the boat out on friday got 20 fish
all small look at boat photos

Look in the 'Nenad' folder. I posted two photos of some queenfish
caught here on Abqaiq beach.

This was my first trip here in Saudi. Nothing major, a few garfish, a
shari, a few lost baracudas, howevr this guy on the picture got a
nice queenfish.

Indian Spiney Turbot up to two kg, nice to eat. best bait chicken guts, found on
the morning high tide on sand bars, seasonal, look at photos.

we had some good sport at Aviation Beach on Thursday night. 28" Cat fish a big
sting ray but lots of weed to contend with.
