Hi All

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Easter.  Enjoy your time with your family
and friends.

I got fantastic news.  I am  still employed.  Also, I got a raise of $2,000.00
more per year!!

Unfortunately, a lot of my co-workers were released from their employment so it
was a terrible day for me on Thursday.  They laid off 9 fellow employees.  So
many years of service as well as talent. 

I was happy for myself but sad for them.  some of them are able to retire while
others will need to start looking for another job.  I hope that it works out for
them.  They are paying for them to attend placement centers as well as paying
for their resumes to be done professionally as well as counseling if they need
it.  I know that I went through some emotions that day as well as still going
through some emotions today.  I am sad, depressed as well as happy for myself. 

It is not the same at work.  There are only 4 of us there now.  You just never
know with management. 

This year in my garden I plan on growing tomatoes, onions, green beans, squash,
cucumbers, carrots, broccoli, beets and radishes. 

Today for dinner we are having baked ham, mashed potatoes, candied gravy, fresh
asparagus and dinner rolls and yellow cake for dessert with vanilla ice cream.

HOpe everyone enjoys their day.  Pat and I will be married 20 years on
Wednesday.  I was scheduled to be on vacation this week but will be working
monday, tuesday and wednesday.  We are working overtime to make sure all of the
work gets done.  Extra money will help us out. 

we may take a ride away just for the day on Friday.

Some people just cannot get in tune with what is going on?
 
Yesterday as you all know there was a fire two blocks from me, will when you see
tape up that says do not go pass this line ----that tells most people their is
danger ahead (thats what I was taught as a child )  Will I watched time after
time parents to busy talking about the fire --meanwhile their kids were runnung
under the tape not knowing they were in danger,  The police department and fire
department would tell the parents and they would just shake their heads and go
back to talking. 
 
This is not right in my books what would you do if you were the parent?

Hi All

Just wanted to let you know that I am running behind on my letters.

Trying to get them current and up-to-date this upcoming week.

If I owe you a letter, please send me an e-mail toZ:

susysnowflake2000@... so that I can make sure that I received your letter.

We were having some problems with the Post Office delivering our mail to other
neigbhros and some of our mail was not getting delivered. 

Gets upsetting especially when a few of them were bills and I received them 3
weeks later as my neighbors were away.

We did report this to our local carrier so that they can be more careful about
putting other people's mail in neighbor's mailboxes.

Hopefully, this problem does not continue.  Next time it happens my husband said
that he will report it to the local postmaster.

I don't want that to happen so hopefully, this is the last time.

Last year, we never received a check we were expecting and we think that it was
delivered to someone else.  They had to send out a replacement check.

anyways, I am going to be planting my vegetable garden today.

Putting in 18 tomato plants, cucumber seeds, squash seeds, beets and radishes
including green bean seeds.

My honest to goodness feelings:
 
Will as most of you may know I have not been feeling great lately in fact I have
been feeling horrible,  and depressed.
 
Let's start at the beginning I first became sick several month's ago with a
muscle infection, which turned into a lot of pain in my frozen shoulder (caused
by my stroke in 2007).  Then on top of that I got bronchitis which is still
bothering me.
 
All this led to me (as you may of noticed) getting away from the computer and
not caring about posting in the groups I belong to.  And yes I even stopped
writing letters for awhile because I just felt no one wanted to hear about my
problems they had enough of their own. 
 
I have decided it is time to get back into the swing of things, but have also
decided to take things slowly so I am hoping you will be patient with me for a
little longer, if I owe you a letter you will receive one shortly.

Hi All

Last weekend we went to a cookout at my husband's brother's house.  We had hot
dogs, hamburgers and salads.

Today we are going shopping to buy Patrick some shorts and sneakers.

Tomorrow we are going to a chicken barbeque at church where they are going to
have chicken, sausage and peppers, salads and strawberry shortcake.

Today I worked in my vegetable gardening taking care of some overgrown weeds. 

I
  also planted some more green bean seeds.  The onions are doing so well
as well as the tomato plants.  The cucumber plants should climb the
fence shortly and the other vegetables including squash, cabbage and
peppers are coming along.

today for dinner we are having chicken, carrots and mashed potatoes.

I
  am working all this week and will then be on vacation July 2-6. 
However, my husband Pat will be working the week I am on vacation.  He
will work all Summer until August 10.

I am also on vacation August 25-31 so we hope to go away for about 4-5 days that
week just to relax.

next year, I hope to go away to Cape Cod or visit my family down in Georgia and
North Carolina.

We are going to a graduation party next
  month.  Patrick will be 15 on July 18.  We are going to have a cookout in our
yard the first weekend of August.

I have been busy with overtime lately.  The overtime has ended so I should be
able to post more often.

got
  some bad news on Saturday.  My sister's husband who is only 54 years
old suffered a slight stroke.  He was hospitalized with high blood
pressure, diabetes and some other problems with his heart and kidneys. 
Hopefully he will pull through and be on the road to better health.

My
  vegetable garden is coming along well.  I have lots of little
tomatoes.  The cabbage is growing as well as the squash and my onions
are getting larger.

today for dinner we had steak on the grill and baked potatoes.

Hi all

I am going to start looking on Saturday for another car.  My car has 192,000
miles on it at this time.  It is a 1998 chevrolet monte carlo.

Had the check engine light come on yesterday.  Found out that it was due to
being down 2 quarters of oil.  I have a slow leak in my engine.  Had it repaired
3 years ago.  Cost me over $800.00.  Can't see putting $800.00 in this car as I
had planned on getting rid of it by end of September - early October.

Only problem is I am torn between what vehicle I want to buy.  Want to start
looking at Hyundai sonota, Hyundai elantra, Kia Optima, Chevrolet Malibu and
Chevrolet Impala.

Did some research on internet.  All of them have excellent write ups for the new
designs both inside of outside for elentra, sonota, optima and malibu. 

I hope that in several weeks I will know what car I want to buy.  I just love
the new color of ice blue on the sonota and elentra.  Also like the pearl
metallic color on the optima.

Hi all

I have been busy lately with getting Patrick ready to enter 10th Grade next
week.

My
  vegetable garden did not do too well this year due to the extensive
heat we had this year.  Oh well, there is always next year.  We did get
some tomatoes.

We are going to local fair this weekend and
probably to a cookout on Labor Day at Pat's brother's house.  We did
attend a baby christening for my husband's great niece and great nephew.

We
  went to HIlton Garden Inn after christening where we feasted on
scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins, fruit, chicken with wine sauce,
  rice pilaf, juice, coffee and tea.

I am on vacation this weekend - just relaxing and taking it easy.

Have to finish getting a few things for Patrick for school today.

My name is Channing I am having a rough time with recovering from a Gastric
bypass surgery which I had on July 24, 2012. I am Sometimes suffering from
Anxiety, Dizziness, Headaches a Dry gagging Nausea that will not go away , I am

Just wanted to let you know that I am back to writing my letters.  Managed to
mail out a lot this week and have a few more to write this upcoming week.

I got behind due to my looking for the past two months for a new vehicle for
me.  Now that I have purchased my car, I don't have to go out in the evenings or
on the weekends - only to go grocery shopping or shopping for other things.

We enjoyed the Raw show that we attended on September 24.  It lasted 4 hours!! 
Very entertaining.

We loved the comedian show - Gabriel Iglesias - he was very funny.  after the
show was over, they asked one parent to come up with their children to get their
picture taken with him so my husband and Patrick got their picture taken with
Gabriel Iglesias.

We took a trip up to Tupper Lake over Columbus Day Weekend.  colors on trees
were beautiful.  We took a ride to Whiteface Mountain.  At the summit, it was 30
degrees with a wind chill of -3!!  Brr!!

Anyways, I picked up my 2013 Chevrolet Malibu LT on October 8 . So far, I really
love it!!  It handles beautiful.  Getting great gas mileage also compared to the
Monte Carlo. 
The car is Atlantis Metallic Blue.
