We are off to a convention this weekend in Norman, OK.  We will be
driving each day (3 days).  It is of Bible lectures and dramas.

I'm 44, married mom of 3 living in Oklahoma.  I have 3 kids ages 23,
10, 7.  I do most crafts and love to garden though I can't at this
house.

We've had tons of rain lately and I feel like Noah as my house is
standing in water up to a foot on 3 sides (low area).  We use a ramp
made of a board and some large sized bricks to get off our back
porch.  We'd have to wade if we used the front yard.  I just put our
mailbox on the fence out front so the mailman could get to it as he
can't get in our yard when it rains.

I'm a Christian Bible teacher and always welcome penpals with Bible
questions or who want free one on one studies (this is the kind
where you can ask questions, get verification from reference
sources/photocopies, etc rather than just accept it cause someone or
group says it is true).

   I have been busy with my vegetable garden.  I have flowers on my early tomato
plants and I have flowers forming on my pepper plants.  The rest are doing well.

   Work is coming along well.  Patrick is out of school and did very well on his
report card.

   He will enter fifth grade in September.

   My husband takes care of him during the summer months as he does not work
since he is a school bus driver.  That way we save on the cost of daycare.

I know, I never post in here, but here's whats up. I did something to
my knee on the fourth... went to the DR... then she referred me to
another DR, an orthopedist. He made me get crutches... then I got a
hinged knee brace, and then he made me get an MRI... So I went in to
get the scan done, and first thing, I had to pee really bad about
halfway through... I tried to hold it, but the tech had to pull me
out. So then, on the second try, the machine decided not to work. Now
I gotta get another one. They said my knee cap is not sitting evenly,
and then they think I tore my minescus, the ring of cartligde
underneath my knee cap. If the MRI reveals that I did, I have to have
surgery.


ANyone want to write to me? I can write long or short letters,
whatever you prefer!
