While I accept the counterpoints which have been raised by Mainul Ahsan and
others, in SKM's defence, all the points which he has raised, do draw
validity in the following sense: In no other religion have all these factors
being applied at the same time (this current day and age) and across so many
countries.
Christianity currently has several hot-spots, Hinduism has its hot-spots,
Buddhism has its hot spots, but Islam seems to be one major geothermal
outbreak right across the world. Now, whether this is because of the uneven
distribution of the religious communities across the world or whatever the
economic status or the oft quoted "Zionist controlled media which makes me
fall about laughing" or you name it, the fact remains that across the board,
news-stories and events have contributed towards this feeling that Islam is
the religion which is on the outlier. Samuel Huntingdon must be extremely
pleased. Perception becomes reality!
