Should We Stop Student Politics?
Dear editor
Once again you have posed a valuable question towards the current
situation of Bangladesh. Should we support the ban in student politic?
Most definitely: Pre-eminently the answer is yes. It is very sad and
very painful to say this that, the student politic was not bad in old
days where the student has come out with good things in life, and
politics are not exception.
I am really worried about the law and order in Bangladesh. I would
humbly ask the Govn: please do anything to control the violence in
any cost. In fact it is the main issue of current government
everything else come second.
I will end with this quote who ever it was who wrote it: "The old who
commits war, but the young's die":

Law should be made to band all kinds of student politics and violence
prone politicians should be cicked out from all parties.

Should We Stop Student Politics?
It's imperative to stop student politics if we wish to progress as a
nation. All the ills our nation have been experiencing over the years
which have reached it's worst in recent times are the direct result
of ugly student politics. It's not only spoiling the studies of many
bright students but has also become the breeding-ground of all the
Mastani, Chandabazee etc. because that's where they get the first
lesson for all these obnoxious activities. Student politics is also
lingering the University years (Session Jam, 4 years course taking 7
years) and taking away valuable time which students could otherwise
use in contributing to nation building! It's a social mallady that
almost every students once gone to the University and colleges, join
student politics and start dreaming about becoming a parliamentarian,
president etc some day when most should dream of becoming doctors,
engineers, technocrats and entrapreuners for the country. Infact a
good education in student life should be the foundation of making a
good politician. Not only we must stop student politics, it's also
important to set an minimum age of say 25 to qualify for becoming a
memeber of any political party.

Should We Stop Student Politics?
Consider the following questions in the context of last ten years,
What student politics has achieved?
Which group of students form the majority of active participants?
What are the motivations behind active participation?
Who, other than the active participants, are being most benefited
(atleast in the short term) by it?
The solution reveals itself.

Should We Stop Student Politics?
The extent of contamination in the politics and the prevailing
situation in the country suggest that students should be kept away
from politics. We should not waste any more time to stop student
politics.

Should We Stop Student Politics?
No doubt we should stop students politics. It has maximum negative
sites rather than a very few postive sites.
