My Reply:
Usually "Mohatma" is being used to show respect to Mr Karam Chand Gandhi.
The term "Netaji" is being used for Subhash Chandra Basu, who tried to promote violent
actions against the British. He was President of Congress until 1936. He has to leave Congress
due to his disenchantment with Mr Gandhi. He later organized "Azad Hind Force" and made allied with the Japanese and Germans.
Just a reminder, these two words "Netaji" and "Gandhi" are mutaully exclusive as far as the history of Indian national movement is concerned.
