Dear Avijit,
> 3) Amnesty International has pointed out ongoing inhumanity in
>Kashmir many times. Do you have any answer ?
I fail to understand your point. Nobody is denying that there is
violence and atrocity in Kashmir. Could you elaborate your point?
> May I ask how many organizations/ people have raised their voice in
>India for their own Kashmiri people? Don't you think that Indians
>should provide a helping hand to those unfortunate victims ?
How did you know, Avijit, that the Indians were all heartless morons
who have no feeling for Kashmiris? Are you so sure? In fact the
organizations you yourself cited are all Indian!
Since you made a comparison between India and BD, let me ask you:
which organization in BD has OPENLY asked for the SECESSION of Hindu
majority or Tribal dominated parts of BD?
Does your own country have stomach for further dismemberment?
> 5) Why don't you want to recognize the demand of Plebiscite in
>Kashmir ? May be because, you think like most of the leftist
>intellectuals, "If Kashmiri people can vote to settle their own
>fate, they will perhaps want to get united with Pakistan. Communal
>vote can never be accepted".
You are right.
Communal voting can never be accepted. In spite of that, in India we
have communal voting almost everywhere in terms of religion, region,
caste etc. But it does not threaten to break the country. If the
Maharashtrians vote for an independent HINDU MAHARASHTRA, it will NOT
be accepted. Same with Kashmir.
I have already replied on the issue of plebiscite and self
determination.
>Have those intellectuals ever demanded to abolish the rights for
>vote of the people in Maharastra ? If not, why ?
Dear Avijit, here you are making a pathetic attempt of stretching
things too far.
WHO HAS ABOLISHED THE VOTING RIGHTS OF KASHMIRIS?
Kashmiris cannot vote? They are a slave ppl? Where did you get this
gem of an info?
Are you serious?
> 6) "India will no longer accept to go for discussion with the third
>party accept Inda-pak regarding Kashmir issue".
>But I will be highly obliged ..... whether Kashmiri people are to be
>included in the so-called "third-party" to discuss for their own
>fate.
According to the Shimla Agreemnet, Kashmir is a bilateral issue
between India and Pakistan. So there is no room for third party. The
other option for Indian govt is to talk directly with the rebel
Kashmiris. Strangely, the rebels never want to talk unless Pakistan
is allowed in. It clearly shows that their call for "independence" is
bogus; they just want to drag Kashmir into Pakistan.
By the way: who are the Kashmiris' true representatives, anyway? You
think the National Conference has no standing at all?
