It seems that Mukto-mona and Drishtipat are under the radar screen of Jamatees and Islamists of Bangladesh. The readers may remember that Shahriar Kabir wrote an e-mail to Prof. Ajoy K Roy (and his other well-wishers), soon after his ad interim release for six month on bail. The letter was forwarded to Mukto-mona and Drishtipat :

The Jamatees downloaded the e-mail from the web-sites of either Mukto-moana or drishtipat and published a misleading report in Daily Inquilub on 10.02.2002, titled "An E-mail of Shahriar Kabir to and Indian Detective" (Bharotiyo Goyenda k Shahriar Kabir-er E-mail Barta). In that report the reporter portrayed Prof. Roy as the Indian citizen (may be because of his "Hindu" name) and a Detective officer (?) of India. The reporter, in that report, also published Professor Roy's e-mail address to prove their authenticity; but the smart reporter could not realize citechco.net cannot be a address of Indian citizen- it is a well known and popular Internet Service Provider of Bangladesh named "Grameen CyberNet".
Anyway, We are publishing the report of Inquilab (see the attachment) and also the protest letter of Professor Roy for the interested readers which can also be viewed at :

We apologize to non-Bengali Readers of the forum.
