Prof.Afteb Ahmed,former VC of National University is no more.

Prof.Ajoy Roy have sent his condolence message on death of late Afteb
Ahmed.

So far I know,

He was a radical student activist of Shatroleague(68-71),member of
Shadin Bangal Neuleas leading by Sirajul Alam Khan who first used the
slogan "Jai Bangla" in September 15,1969 in a meeting at Modhur Canteen
of Dhaka University.

He was also a freedom fighter.

He was a founding member of Jashod and executive editor of "Daily
Gonokontho".

After an interval he have showed his support toward BNP as well as Pro
Islami,Nationalism based parties.

In a seminer held on National Press Club ,he proposed to change the
National Antheam(Jatio Shangit) of Bangladesh.

He was a regualr columnist of Daily Inquilab for some years.

Whatever his political views or opinion ,we don't care...but we are
against the killing of Intelectuals.

I believe everyone should have the freedom to express his/her opinion
and every one should also have the right to oppose one's views or
opinion.
