As per Rabindranath,Michel Modhusudun(pardon me for spelling error of name) was the founding modern bengalii poetry?

Most of editors & critic claimed Kallol based poets wrote modern poetry and Jibananda Das or B.Basu marked as the founder.

Syed Ali Ahsan claimed in his writings and interviews that he was the founding modern bengalii poetry?

What's true? Could any one make this clear with evidence/reference?
