I am sorry sir- I don't agree. Seeking economic freedom or demanding equal right
is not a misleading concept of feminism by any means. I did not see any feminist
in this forum excursing any "ugro nareebaad" (In your terms). Ranbindranath did
not want her women to work outside. He expressed it quite clearly. He was just
fascinated by their beauty, compassion and love. May be its ok for him and his
followers, but for us these are not just sufficient. Tagore compared us with
"Griho-Bhrittyo" in his article "Rama Bai er boktita upolokkhe". No matter what
type of feminisom you prefer - ugro or nomro - this is a severe derogatory mock
towards womankind.
