Thanks for sharing this news. I think that any belief system that refuses open debate or discussion sets a dangerous precedent. We are fortunate to live in a (however flawed) society that is multi-cultural and renews its ideas and doctrine through free expression.

Dear Friends: It's a sad news but not unexpected that mukto-mona.com, the on-line secular discussion forum and website, would be banned by an Arab country. I have observed that Islam can never tolerate any discussion or writing that does not go along with its doctrine. So, freethinkers have been discouraged, tortured (as Humayun Azad in Bangladesh in 2004) or even killed all over the Islamic world. I condemn the ban on the Mukto-Mona website.
